 Chronicle of Steve Jobs

  • Steve Jobs was one of the most iconic entrepreneurs in the field of technology and digital transformation. His professional career was full of outstanding moments and relevant situations that left a deep mark on the industry.
  • In 1976, Jobs co-founded Apple Computer with Steve Wozniak in the garage of his home. Together, they developed the Apple I, one of the first commercially available personal computers. This was just the first taste of Jobs' innovative genius.
  • In 1984, Apple launched the Macintosh, a revolutionary personal computer that introduced the graphical user interface and the mouse, becoming a milestone in the history of personal computing.
  • However, in 1985, despite initial success, internal tensions led to Jobs' dismissal from Apple.
  • In 1985, Jobs did not give up and founded NeXT Computer, a company focused on developing high-performance workstations for the education and business sectors.
  • Then, in 1986, he acquired Pixar Animation Studios, which became a benchmark in digital animation and produced hits such as "Toy Story" and "Finding Nemo".
  • In 1996, Apple was in financial trouble and losing relevance in the personal computer market. But Jobs returned to the company he had co-founded and became its CEO. Under his leadership, Apple launched a series of innovative and revolutionary products, such as the iMac in 1998, the iPod in 2001, the iPhone in 2007 and the iPad in 2010.

  • Unfortunately, in 2011, Steve Jobs passed away from pancreatic cancer. However, his legacy lives on in Apple's DNA and the influence he had on the technology industry at large. His impact and vision continue to inspire entrepreneurs and business leaders around the world.
